High fidelity

High fidelity is a term used to describe equipment that reproduces sound in a very accurate way. This means that sounds produced using high-fidelity equipment are closer to the original sound than sounds produced using lower quality equipment. Good high-fidelity equipment will produce sound that is close to what the musicians and sound engineers originally heard when they were recording it.
