History of Lethbridge
Lethbridge is a city in Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by mountains and has a river running through it. Many people have called this place home for thousands of years.

In 1874, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police established a fort in the area, which helped to bring more settlers to the region. The city of Lethbridge was officially founded in 1885 and named after William Lethbridge, a businessman who helped to finance the railroad that ran through the city.
Despite some challenges, such as floods and economic downturns, Lethbridge continued to grow and develop. It became a major agricultural and mining center, producing everything from wheat and livestock to coal and minerals.
