Hittite language

The Hittite language is a way of talking that people used a really long time ago, in a place that is now part of Turkey. It's kind of like how you talk to your friends and family, but it's different because we don't use it anymore.

The Hittite language was written down on clay tablets using special marks that stood for different sounds. The marks were like drawings of things like a star, a foot, or a bird, and they all meant something different.

The Hittite language was important because it helped people communicate with each other, just like how you speak to your friends and family. But, over time, people stopped using the Hittite language because they started speaking different languages that were easier for them to understand.

Today, people who study the Hittite language can read old writings from thousands of years ago, which helps us learn about what life was like a really long time ago.
