Hoaxes

Hoaxes are when someone tells a big, big lie on purpose to trick people. And it's not a small lie like saying you brushed your teeth when you didn't, it's a really big lie that can hurt people. Sometimes the people that make hoaxes do it just to get people to believe them, and sometimes they may do it to make people scared or to make fun of them. People have to be really careful and check the facts before they believe something that sounds too good or too bad to be true. And if they find out something isn't true, they should tell other people right away so they don't get tricked too.
