Holobiont

Holobionts are a combination of two or more different organisms that live together in a close, symbiotic relationship. Examples of holobionts are bees, who live in colonies and rely on each other to survive, or coral reefs, which are made up of hundreds of different kinds of living things like fish, plants, and other creatures. Holobionts help each other survive by sharing resources like food and shelter. They also provide protection from dangers like predators. Together, the holobiont is stronger than each individual organism on its own.
