Home Taping Is Killing Music

Okay, so you know how you love listening to music, right? Well, the people who make that music also love it when you listen to it. They can make some money from it and use that money to make more music or to live their lives.

But, some people started making copies of the music themselves, like recording it onto a cassette tape. This is called home taping. They did this instead of buying the music from the store. And when people do this instead of buying the music, the people who make the music don't make as much money.

When the people who make the music don't make as much money, they might not be able to keep making new music or they might have to charge more for their music. This means that there might be less music for you to listen to, or it might be harder to get your hands on it.

So, while it might seem like it's not a big deal, home taping is actually hurting the people who make the music that you love. It's important to support them by buying their music, so that they can keep making more.
