Home energy storage

Home energy storage is when you save the energy you use in your home for later. A good example of this is a flashlight. Inside the flashlight is a battery that stores energy so that when you switch it on the light comes on. In your home, you might use solar panels or wind turbines to collect energy from the sun or wind and store it in a battery. This way, when you need to use energy, especially at night or during cloudy days, you can use the energy that you have stored instead of having to get energy from the utility company.
