Homeschooling during the COVID-19 pandemic

During the covid-19 pandemic, some children are not going to school because it can be dangerous for them to be in large groups. Homeschooling is when parents become teachers and teach their children at home. It's like having a school in your living room. Parents teach their children math, English, science, history, and all the other subjects. They follow a schedule and set goals, just like at school. They also make sure their children have lots of breaks and playtime, just like at school. Parents can create their own lessons, or they can use a curriculum that the school provides. Sometimes they join online classes with other students from their school, which is called virtual learning. Homeschooling is important because it keeps children safe during the pandemic, and it helps them to continue learning even when they can't go to school.
