Horse meat

Horse meat is the meat from horses. Horses are special kind of animals that people have been using for thousands of years to help us do lots of things like pull wagons and plows to help us farm fields. Horse meat is eaten in some places around the world, usually parts of Europe, Asia and South America. To prepare it, you first have to butcher or kill the horse, then you slaughter it in a special way that’s different from how other animals are usually killed. After it’s been slaughtered, the horse meat can be cooked in different ways like it can be turned into burgers or sausages, made into meatballs, or used to make steaks.
