Hot dark matter

Hey buddy! So, you know how cold things feel colder than warm things, right? Well, in space there are things called particles that are so hot that they move super fast! We call those particles hot dark matter.

Now, you know how we can see light from stars and planets, but we can't see this hot dark matter? That's because it doesn't give off any light. It's like trying to see something in the dark - if it doesn't have any light, you won't be able to see it. But we know it exists because we can see its effects on other things in space.

Scientists use special machines to study the movements of things in space, like galaxies. They noticed that some galaxies were moving in weird ways that didn't make sense. They realized that something else must be affecting that movement, and one possibility was hot dark matter.

So, although we can't see hot dark matter, we know it's out there because it affects other things around it. It's like trying to find a ghost - we can't see it, but we know it must be there because of the things it's doing. Cool, huh?
