ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Human microphone

Have you ever tried playing telephone with your friends by whispering a message from one person to another? The human microphone is like playing telephone, but with a big group of people and without using phones!

When a large group of people wants to communicate a message to others, they form a circle or a line and the first person starts speaking. Instead of using a microphone, they speak loudly and clearly so that the person standing next to them can hear and repeat the same message to the next person. This process goes on until the message reaches the end of the line or circle.

This way, even if the group doesn't have access to a microphone or loudspeaker, they can still make their voices heard by working together and amplifying their message with their own voices. It's like a team effort to make sure everyone can hear what they have to say!
