Human rights and climate change

Human rights and climate change are connected because climate change affects everybody's rights. When the climate changes, it can affect where people can live and the resources they can use. This could mean that people don't have access to food and water, and it could also mean that people have to move away from their homes to escape the effects of climate change. Climate change also threatens people's right to life, as natural disasters like floods and hurricanes can become more common, putting people at risk. When climate change happens, people's rights to safety and freedom can be affected too.
