Human-wildlife conflict means that people and wild animals try to use the same resources at the same time, like land or food. It can happen when animals come into contact with people and either damage people's houses, gardens and farms, or when people hurt the animals because they are scared of them. So in the conflict, humans and animals both lose. For example, if a wild animal eats the food that was grown on a farm, then the farmer won't have enough food. At the same time, if people try to hurt the animal, it can end up getting hurt or even killed, which isn't good for that animal or for nature. To prevent this from happening, people can try to protect the animals' natural habitat and teach people to be kind to animals.
