Hybrid server

Okay kiddo, do you know what a server is? It's like a big computer that other computers talk to to get information or do things, kind of like a teacher in a classroom. Now, a hybrid server is a special kind of server that's like a combination of two different types of servers.

One type is called a physical server, which is actually a real, physical computer that you can touch and see. The other type is called a virtual server, which isn't a real computer but instead is like a pretend one that runs on a physical server.

So, a hybrid server is a server that has both physical and virtual servers working together. They might be used for something like running a website. The website might be on a virtual server, but if lots of people are using the website at the same time, the hybrid server can switch over to using a physical server to help out and make things go faster.

It's kind of like if you were playing a video game and had a friend playing with you. If you both played on your own separate Nintendo Switches, that would be like using a physical server. But if you were playing together on the same Nintendo Switch, that would be like using a virtual server. And a hybrid server would be like using both at the same time so you can have more fun and do more cool things together.
