Hydrometer

A hydrometer is a tool that is used to measure the density of a liquid. This means that you can use a hydrometer to know how much stuff is in the liquid, like sugar or salt. You put the hydrometer into the liquid and it will float or sink depending on how much stuff is in there. If it sinks, there is more stuff in the liquid. If it floats, there is less stuff in the liquid.
