Hypnagogia is a natural part of falling asleep. It's like a sort of daydreaming or half-awake state that your body goes into right before you drift off to sleep. Sometimes your body might even twitch or your eyes might flutter or roll around. Hypnagogia can include strange sensations or seeing weird shapes or hearing random noises or voices. It can also feel like you’re floating or spinning and can sometimes be a little uncomfortable.
