Hypothesis

Hypothesis is an idea you have about something. It is an educated guess, based on what you know and your observations.

For example, if you notice that it is raining outside, you might make a hypothesis that the street will be wet. This means you are guessing that the street will be wet based on the fact that it is raining. You can test your hypothesis by going out and checking if the street is wet.
