Ice palace

An ice palace is kind of like a really cool fort or castle made out of ice and snow! It's like when you build a snowman but bigger and fancier.

People in really cold places, like Russia or Minnesota, might make an ice palace as a celebration or attraction during the winter.

First, they gather lots of ice and snow. Then they use special tools, like saws and chisels, to cut the ice into big blocks. They stack the blocks on top of each other to make walls, and use more ice blocks to make towers and other neat shapes.

Inside the ice palace, people might add pretty lights or ice sculptures to make it look even more magical.

We still have to be careful though because even though it's fun, ice can be slippery and cold. So, kids should always play safely and make sure to have adult supervision.
