Ice pond

An ice pond is a type of pond that is usually found in cold, snowy places, like a mountain or up in the Arctic. It is made when a big layer of ice covers a pool of water. The ice often forms into interesting shapes and can be very thick, sometimes thick enough for people to use as a skating rink. It's a lot of fun to explore an ice pond in winter - you can see how nature has made art out of ice and snow!
