ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Inclusion (disability rights)

Okay, Tommy, imagine going to a birthday party where everyone is having fun playing games and eating cake. But we have a friend named Mark who uses a wheelchair and he can’t reach the games or the cake easily.

Inclusion means that everyone is invited to the party, and we try to make sure that Mark can enjoy it just like anyone else.

So, we might move the games to a spot where Mark can easily reach them or give him a special seat at the table so he can easily eat cake with us.

It’s important to treat everyone equally and make sure everyone can participate, no matter what differences they have. That’s what inclusion means, Tommy.
