Indianisation

Indianisation is when an area becomes more Indian in culture, language, customs, and other aspects. For example, if you were to visit an Indian city like Mumbai, you would see many Indian foods, hear languages like Hindi, and see traditional Indian clothing worn by people. Indianisation is when this happens and more of the Indian culture is experienced in an area.
