ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Individual rights advocate

Alright kiddo, imagine you have a toy that you really love to play with. You have the right to choose when, where, and how to play with that toy. That's called an individual right.

Now, imagine if someone told you that you couldn't play with your toy because they said so. That's not fair because you have the right to play with your toy as long as you're not hurting anyone else.

An individual rights advocate is someone who helps protect people's individual rights. They want everyone to have the freedom to do what they want as long as they're not hurting anyone else. They might help people who are being treated unfairly or stopped from doing something they have the right to do.

Just like how parents protect their children's rights to play with their toys or make decisions, individual rights advocates help protect everyone's rights.
