ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Information management

Information management is about organizing and keeping track of information. Think of it like a filing system. Just like you might put your school papers in a folder, information management puts different pieces of information into "folders" so it can be easily found by people who need it. For example, if you have a lot of facts about animals, you could put all those facts into a folder called "Animals", and then if you ever need the facts later, you know exactly where to find them. Information management makes it easier to keep track of the important information you have.
