Injection molding is a way to make things quickly and in lots of copies. It's kind of like what a baker does when they make lots and lots of cupcakes. Here's how it works: first, a company takes a special type of melted plastic (or other material) and squirts it into a special shape. Then they put that shape into a huge machine which clamps it shut, so the plastic cools and hardens. After that, it pops out of the machine, like a cupcake out of an oven! This way, companies can make many copies of the same shape quickly and easily.
