Matrix moulding

Okay kiddo, matrix moulding is when you use a special tool to make a copy of something. You can think of it like making a mold of your favorite toy so you can make more toys that look exactly the same!

In matrix moulding, the tool we use is called a matrix. It's a hollow container that looks like the thing we want to copy. For example, if we want to make a copy of a toy airplane, we would use a matrix that looks like an airplane.

First, we put the object we want to copy inside the matrix. Then, we pour a liquid material, like plastic or resin, into the matrix. This liquid material fills up all the empty spaces inside the matrix and surrounds the object we want to copy.

Once the liquid material has hardened, we take out the object we want to copy and we have a perfect replica! We can use this replica to make more copies of the original object.

Matrix moulding is used in all sorts of things, like making toy cars, creating parts for machines, and even making prosthetic limbs for people who need them. It's a cool way to make exact copies of things we love!
