Integers

Integers are like the numbers we count with. You know, like 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. But integers are even more special because they include all the numbers from negative infinity (-∞) to positive infinity (+∞).

Some examples of integers are:
-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and so on.

Integers can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided just like the numbers we usually use. However, they do not include any fractions or decimals, like 1/2 or 3.14. So, they are whole numbers only.

In short, integers are simply numbers that can be positive, negative, or zero, and that don't have any fractions or decimals. They are the building blocks of all math and we use them in everyday life for counting, measuring, and much more.
