Intent (military)

Well kiddo, when people talk about intent in the military, they mean what someone is trying to do or what their plan is. It's like when you have a plan to build a castle out of blocks - your intent is to build that castle.

In the military, intent is really important because it can help them figure out what their enemies are planning. So, imagine you're playing a game of tag. Your intent is to catch the person who is "it." If you see that person running towards you, you can make a pretty good guess that their intent is to tag you.

In the military, soldiers try to figure out their enemies' intent so they can plan how to stop them. They might listen in on their enemies' conversations or look at maps to see where they're moving. By figuring out what their enemies are trying to do, they can figure out the best way to stop them.

Understanding intent is really important in the military because it helps them to be prepared and keep everyone safe.
