Intercession of saints

Okay, so imagine you have a really special friend who is super close to your mom and dad. This friend is so special that you always ask them to talk to your parents for you when you need something. You might say something like, "Hey, can you ask my mom if I can have candy before dinner?"

Well, some people believe that saints are like super special friends who are really close to God. They believe that just like your friend can talk to your parents for you, saints can talk to God for us. This is called "intercession."

So, if you needed help or wanted to ask God for something, you might ask a saint to ask Him for you. Just like you asked your friend to ask your mom about the candy! Some people believe that saints can even perform miracles or help make things happen because they are so close to God.
