An isochrone map is like a map that shows how far you can get from one place in a certain amount of time. For example, an isochrone map of 30 minutes from your house might show the places you could go if you had 30 minutes to spare. Each line on the map would represent a different amount of time, like 10, 20 or 30 minutes. The inside of the lines would be the places you'd be able to reach in that time.
