Istanbul Pogrom

The Istanbul Pogrom was a terrible event that happened in 1955 in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. It was a terrible act of violence where people from the Turkish government attacked the homes of Greek citizens in Istanbul. They destroyed homes, businesses, and even harmed or killed people. This was done as a way of getting rid of the Greek people living in Istanbul, and unfortunately was successful in doing so, as many of them left the city in fear. It was a very sad day in Istanbul's history.
