Japanese new religions

Okay kiddo, so you know how some people believe in different things like God and angels, right? Well, in Japan, some people believe in different religions that are new and different from the ones that have been around for a long time.

These religions are called "Japanese new religions". They started popping up in the late 1800s and 1900s, which means they're pretty new compared to other religions like Christianity and Buddhism.

Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky. Japanese new religions have different beliefs and practices. Some focus on healing, some on meditation and enlightenment, and others on making the world a better place.

One really famous new religion is called Aum Shinrikyo, but it's not a good example because it did some really bad things like the 1995 Tokyo subway sarin gas attack. We don't want to talk about that.

Here are some examples of what other Japanese new religions believe in:

- Seicho-No-Ie: They believe in a divine power that flows through everything and everyone. By understanding this power, we can create a better world.
- Happy Science: They believe in spiritual growth, which means developing our inner selves to become happier and more fulfilled. They also believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking.
- Mahikari: They believe in the power of light, which they say can heal physical and emotional problems. They also believe in the importance of doing good deeds.

So, this is what Japanese new religions are all about – new religions that are different and have distinct beliefs and practices. Some are good, and some are not so good. But it's important to respect everyone's beliefs, no matter what they are, right kiddo?
