Jocasta

Jocasta is a character from a famous play called Oedipus Rex. She's the mom of the main character, Oedipus. In the story, Oedipus doesn't know who his real parents are, and Jocasta doesn't know that Oedipus is actually her son. They don't find out until later, which is a big surprise and makes the story super interesting! Jocasta is an important person in the story because she's part of the family secret that Oedipus has to solve. Overall, Jocasta is a very tragic character and her story is very sad.
