The Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) is like a store where people buy things. Instead of buying food or clothes, people buy grain (like wheat, corn, and soybeans). People who need grain, like farmers and bakeries, come to the KCBT to buy it. People who have lots of grain, like big farms, come to the KCBT too to sell their grain.
