Kashubians

Okay kiddo, so let's talk about Kashubians. Have you ever heard of them?

Kashubians are a group of people who live in a special place called Kashubia. This is a region in northern Poland, next to the Baltic Sea.

But what makes Kashubians special? Well, for one, they have their own language, called Kaszubian. It's kind of like Polish, but also a bit different. It's like when you speak a different language at home than your friends at school.

Kashubians have their own culture too. They have traditional clothing, music, and dances that are unique to the region. They also have their own food that they like to eat, like smoked fish from the sea.

You might be wondering, how did Kashubians get to be their own group? Well, a long, long time ago, the area where they live now was its own country. But over time, other bigger countries came and took over, like Germany and Poland.

Even though they were ruled by these bigger countries, Kashubians still held onto their own language and traditions. They didn't want to just blend in with everyone else. And that's how they continue to be their own unique group of people today.

So, that's Kashubians in a nutshell. They're a group of people who have their own language, culture, and traditions, and they live in a special place called Kashubia. Pretty cool, huh?
