Kitchenware

Kitchenware is all the tools and things that you might use when you're in the kitchen - like pots, pans, mixing bowls, knives, spoons, and of course plates and glasses! Just like how you might have toys and games in your room, your parents or caregivers will have different kinds of kitchenware in the kitchen so they can cook food and make yummy things for you to eat.

Pots are usually big and round and can be used for boiling water or cooking things like soup or pasta. Pans are also big, but are usually flat and can be used for frying things like eggs or making pancakes. Mixing bowls come in different sizes and can be used for mixing ingredients together for recipes, like cake batter! Knives are used for cutting different foods, like fruits or vegetables, and spoons can be used for stirring or measuring things out.

And of course, plates and glasses are used for serving and enjoying your meals! When you're done eating, you put all the dirty kitchenware in the sink and wash them with soap and water so they're clean and ready to use again next time.
