Klystron

A klystron is a type of electronic device that uses powerful electrical signals to create microwaves. This is important because microwaves are used for many things, like for communication, to cook food, and to detect objects. The klystron works by using electrons that have been accelerated, or made to go very fast, and then they hit a metal plate which causes them to release a certain amount of microwaves.
