Koleda

Koleda is a special holiday in some countries where people celebrate Christmas. It’s a time when people sing Christmas songs, give each other presents, and eat yummy food. The word “koleda” actually means “Christmas” in some languages.

During this holiday, people often decorate their homes with pretty things like lights, wreaths, and ornaments. They might even put up a big tree in their living room and decorate it with shiny decorations and colorful lights.

People also like to dress up in special clothes during koleda. Some dress up as Santa Claus or other Christmas characters, while others wear fancy clothes to celebrate the occasion.

One of the most fun things about koleda is giving and receiving presents! People like to buy or make special gifts for their friends and family, and then surprise them with it on Christmas day. It’s a way of showing how much they care about each other.

Lastly, during koleda, people like to eat yummy food together. Some traditional dishes include roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and lots of delicious desserts. Everyone gathers around the table, shares food and stories, and celebrates the joy of the holiday season.
