Korean alcoholic beverages

So, there are some drinks that people in Korea like to drink that are a little bit different from what you might be used to.

The first one is called soju. Soju is a clear liquid that is made from things like rice or potatoes. It's kind of like a mix between vodka and sake. People in Korea really like to drink soju, and they might drink it with their friends or with their dinner.

But sometimes, people in Korea also like to drink a drink called makgeolli. Makgeolli is a little bit different than soju, because it's kind of like a milky liquid. It's made from rice, and it's a little bit sweet and a little bit sour. Makgeolli is usually served in a big bowl or a big jar, and people drink it with their friends when they're having a good time.

There are lots of other drinks that people in Korea like to drink too, but those are two of the most popular. Just like lots of places have their own special drinks, Korea has these special drinks that people like to enjoy together.
