Kresy

Kresy was a place in Poland where many people used to live a long time ago. Kresy was actually a part of Poland that was far away from the middle of Poland, and it was closer to other countries like Russia and Ukraine.

But something sad happened in the past - during the Second World War, Kresy was taken over by other countries and many people who lived there had to move away. It was very hard for the people who lived there to leave their homes, families, and friends. They had to go to different places to start a new life.

Today, some people still remember Kresy and talk about it as a special part of Polish history. Even though Kresy is not a part of Poland anymore, people still think about it and remember the people who used to live there.
