La Llorona

La Llorona (which means "the wailing woman" in Spanish) is a folktale from Mexico about a woman who was very sad and unhappy because she lost her two children. She wanders around the night, crying for her lost babies. People believe that if you meet her, it is bad luck, so it's best to avoid her.
