Lagrangian mechanics

Lagrangian mechanics is a way of looking at motion. It is a type of math that looks at how things move, how energy changes, and how forces affect things. It uses equations to figure these things out. Lagrangian mechanics was named after the French mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange who invented it in the 1700s. Lagrangian mechanics is used in physics and engineering to figure out how things work.
