Lamb and mutton

Lamb and mutton are both types of meat that come from sheep.

Lamb is meat from a young sheep, usually less than one year old. It is usually soft and tender, and has a mild flavor.

Mutton, on the other hand, comes from an older sheep that is usually more than two years old. Mutton is darker and has a stronger flavor than lamb. It can also be tougher, which means it may take longer to cook.

Think about it like this - when you're a little kid, you are usually soft and tender (like lamb). As you grow up and get older, you might get stronger but you may not be as soft and tender anymore (like mutton).

People have different preferences when it comes to lamb and mutton. Some people like the soft and mild taste of lamb, while others prefer the stronger flavor of mutton. It all depends on what you like!
