Larceny

Larceny is when somebody takes something that doesn't belong to them. Imagine you have a shiny toy car that you really like. If someone else takes that toy car without asking you or getting permission, that is larceny. It's not just about toys though, larceny can also happen with things like money, jewelry, or even food.

Larceny is not okay to do because it's not fair to take someone else's things without their permission. It's important to always ask if you want to borrow someone's things instead of just taking them. If someone takes your things without asking, that's not fair and you should tell an adult to help you handle the situation.
