Okay kiddo, have you ever looked at the letters we write with? They are called the Latin-script alphabets. This alphabet has 26 letters that we use to form words.
They start with the letter "A" and go all the way to "Z". Each letter makes a different sound, and when we put them together, they create words.
But did you know that there are different versions of this alphabet that people use in different parts of the world? These different versions are called scripts.
For example, in English, we use the Latin-script alphabet. But in other languages like Russian, Greek, or Arabic, they use their own script. You might notice that their letters look kinda different from the ones we use.
But even within the Latin-script alphabet, there are different styles of writing called fonts. Some fonts have more curly letters, some are more straight, some are bold, and some are skinny.
So even though the Latin-script alphabet might seem like just a bunch of letters we write with, it is actually a fascinating topic that shows how languages and cultures can be different all around the world!
