Liquor

Liquor is a type of drink that is made from plants or grains, like wheat, corn or barley. These ingredients are mixed together and then left to ferment, which means they sit for a long time until they start to turn into alcohol.

Once the alcohol has formed, the mixture is distilled, which means it is heated up, and the alcohol is separated from the water and other stuff in the mixture. This is how the mixture becomes concentrated and more powerful, which is what makes it strong and sometimes bad for kids or people who can’t handle it.

Once the liquor has been distilled, it can be flavored with different things like fruits, herbs or spices to make different types of drinks, like gin or whiskey. People usually drink liquor in small amounts because it can be dangerous and make them feel bad if they have too much. It's also important to be of legal drinking age and never to drink and drive.
