ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Load drive

Imagine you and your friends are playing a game of tug-of-war. You are one of the strongest kids, so you hold onto the rope really tightly and start pulling. But even though you are strong, you can only pull so much weight all by yourself.

That's where a load drive comes in. It's like having another friend helping you pull on the rope. It makes it easier for you to move the weight and get the other team closer to your side.

In real life, a load drive is used in machines and equipment to help them move heavy things. Like when you see a big crane lifting a car or a giant box, there's a load drive in the crane that helps it lift the weight.

The load drive uses electricity to power a motor, which applies force to move the load. Just like how your muscles apply force to help you pull on the rope in tug-of-war.

So basically, a load drive is like having a really strong friend to help you move something really heavy, but instead of a friend, it's a machine using electricity to help move the weight.
