ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Logical fallacy

Logical fallacies are mistakes in reasoning that can make an argument invalid or unclear. Think of it like telling a story: if one part of the story doesn't make sense, the whole story doesn't make sense. Just like with stories, it doesn't matter if the rest of the argument is good if one part is wrong. Logical fallacies make it difficult for someone to understand the argument and figure out what is right and wrong.
