Apophasis

Apophasis is when someone talks about something by pretending not to talk about it. For example, if someone said, "I'm not going to mention how I got an A on the test," they are using apophasis to talk about their grade without actually saying they got an A. It's like a sneaky way of talking about something without actually saying it.
