ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Lorentz force

The Lorentz force is like a magnet, except instead of poles, it has electricity and magnets. When electricity and a magnet are close together, they push and pull on each other, like two magnets would. The stronger the electricity and the stronger the magnet, the stronger the push or pull. For example, if a wire has electricity flowing through it and it's close to a magnet, the electricity will be pushed away from the magnet. The electricity and the magnet are trying to get away from each other, but they can't. So the electricity just keeps moving around in circles around the magnet. That's the Lorentz force!
