Lorenz curve

The Lorenz curve is a line graph that shows how wealth or income is distributed among the people in a society. With the Lorenz curve, you can see who has more money or earns more. The curve shows the percentage of people in a society that have a certain percentage of the wealth. The curve starts at the bottom left corner with 0% of people owning 0% share of the wealth. It then goes up and to the right, where 100% of people owning 100% of the share of the wealth. The curve can be used to compare how different societies divide their wealth or income. For example, if the curve is steep, it shows that a few people have most of the money or income. If the curve is more flat, it shows that the money or income is more evenly distributed among people.
